Court appearance Organised Crime Operation Dublin

A 22 year old man is due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am on September 21st 2017, charged with drugs and firearms offences.

The man was arrested on Tuesday 19th September, as part of ongoing investigations targeting serious criminal activity in the west Dublin area, a search operation was carried out at an address in Blanchardstown. The operation was led by detectives from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

During the course of this search a Baikal pistol and ammunition was seized along with a stolen high powered motor cycle.

A quantity of Cocaine and Cannabis with a street value of approximately €30,000 (analysis pending) was also seized.
